Carl Koella III

Mayor Carl Koella III was born and raised in Rockford, where his family has lived for 121 years. With strong ties to the town and its history, he is committed to protecting the quality of life that makes Rockford a special place to live. As mayor, Carl works to preserve Rockford’s green spaces, farms and mountain land while protecting the community’s small-town character from outside development pressures. He has advocated for responsible growth, including opposing plans to bring a four-lane Highway 33 through Rockford. Carl has deep roots in the community and a strong commitment to its future, and plans to make Rockford his lifelong home while serving the people who live here.

Vice Mayor

Kenneth Arwood

For more than 40 years, Vice Mayor Kenneth Arwood has lived, worked and raised his family in Rockford. A Heritage High School graduate, he spent more than four decades at Rockford Manufacturing. Kenneth and his wife, Susan, have two sons, and he is committed to serving the community while helping to preserve Rockford's small-town character.

City Commissioner

Jim Jamison

Commissioner Jim Jamison has called Rockford home since 1991 after moving to Tennessee in 1984 from his native New York. Before retiring, he spent 23 years in the production engineering department at Panasonic. Jim and his wife, Joan, have two sons and a daughter, and he enjoys giving back to the community they have called home for more than three decades.
